A Night Of Nostalgia

Image
For the second time, since the pandemic, I was again able to watch a concert last Monday, Jan. 23, 2023. I am a fan of his music since I was in high school. R&B is my type of music. The first song of him that I liked was 'Mad' followed by 'Miss Independent.' And then here comes 'Go On Girl.' Since the first time I heard that song, which was around 2008, if my memory serves me right, I couldn't stop listening to it. Every time I hear that song on the radio or watch its music video, it instantly warms my heart. There are songs that make you think like it's truly made for you, and 'Go On Girl' feels like that to me. Every time I hear it it feels like my heart is going to melt. I don't know why, but that's what that song does to me.  I know you already have an idea about whose concert I watched. Obviously, it's Ne-Yo's. I was already wondering when he's gonna have his concert here in the Philippines. I thought that watching hi

What Motivates You?

It's hard to stay optimistic when you're life seems to be falling apart. It feels like you no longer have the will to live and the urge to fight for your life. And you can't find any reason to stay alive, either. When that happens, what makes you get back on your feet and decide to keep on going? What motivates you? What is it that makes you want to continue living even if at times it seems like it isn't worth the fight anymore? I don't know about you, but motivational quotes have a huge impact in my life. Ever since, I was already a fan of reading quotations. I remember those times when text message was still a hit. I used to ask my cousin to send me some motivational quotes, or any quotations per se. I just like reading something that uplifts me. It makes me want to go bold and all of sudden give me the desire to start my life anew. It makes me want to push myself to my limits and see what I am capable of doing. Motivational quotes give me hope that one day I can

My Hopes For This Year

Most of the time hope is the only thing that keeps us going. No matter how uncertain the future might be, as long as we have hope, somehow it makes us feel at ease. It makes us feel optimistic, and think that one day things would change for the better. And with that, I want to share my hopes for this year.  The year 2022 hasn't been good to me. Don't ask why cause I might cry a bucketful and I won't be able to finish this blog. Just kidding. 😅 One of the things that I'm hopeful for this year is for my dreams to start turning into reality one by one. I've already had enough low moments in the past years, so I'm expecting a better year. I'm hoping that this year I can finally achieve some of my goals in life. Before this year, I wasn't expecting anything good to happen in my life because to me it's still early. If I had all my dreams come true by then, I might not have something to look forward to in the coming years anymore. But as I experienced what

How To Stay Productive

Happy New Year, everyone. I can't believe we're already on the 7th day of the new year 2023. How has the year been going on for you, so far? I hope all is well. And if not, know that it won't be like that all throughout the year. I hope that you won't get discouraged just because the year didn't start good. You still have 358 days to go. It's up to you how you want to spend it. As long as God wakes you up every morning, you are given the chance to begin anew.  I know that most of us have already made a list of New Year's resolution. You might want to read about my blog on  How To Achieve Your New Year's Resolution. I think you've already set your "To Do List" for this year. The question is, how are you going to stay productive to tick all those listed on your list? Focus . Focus on your goals. Do no not get sidetracked from the things that aren't part of your goals. Distractions are everywhere, and you won't achieve anything if you
