Dear Self,

Happy Birthday to you. You're a year older today, and I hope wiser. I want to apologize to you for putting you up with so much in the last couple of months. It feels like you're back to your old, miserable self again. I know how hard you are trying to feel okay and to fight everything that's been weighing you down. At times you succeed, and a lot of times you fail. Sorry for that. 

I don't know how 31 is going to be, but I hope and I pray that you still choose to survive even if you don't feel like it. When you don't feel like you can't go on anymore, always believe that you can just like you always do. God will always be with you no matter what you are going through. He won't give you anything that you can't handle and He always has His reasons for allowing things to happen.

May you never lose your happy self. May you always find humour in everything. You know what they say, "Laughter is the best medicine." Laugh as much as you can. Laugh as often as you can. Never let a dull moment remain as it is. Try to see it as the exact opposite. 

Others know you as a jolly person, so be it. Okay? Never let your circumstances make you feel like your life isn't worth living anymore. Always try to find reasons to make you feel glad that you are alive. And always know this, as long as God is waking you up every day your mission here on earth isn't finished, yet. You still have purpose.

I believe in you, self. You're so much better than you think you are. No matter what life throws at you, just catch it and throw it on the other side. You are strong and resilient. You've already been through so much that you thought you couldn't handle, but you're still here. And for that, I am proud of you. You can do it, self. Hold on tight because life is just going to get better. You've already cried a lot, so it's time for you to shed some happy tears this time. 

I am rooting for you. We still have a long way to go. Never lose your happy self, okay?

My Worst Job Interview Experience

I probably shared with you in the past how I struggled to find a job. I've been to a lot of job interviews. And when I say a lot, I mean a looooooooot. I couldn't count how many job interviews I attended. Whether virtually or on site. There's this one interview that goes on top of the worst interviews I attended. It was somewhere in Pasig. Then I'll change before the interview when I'm already near the area. But when I had this interview, one of the soles detached from the flat that I was wearing. Sat With Ree: Jab We'll Done

Surprisingly, I had my 2nd dose of anti-covid vaccine earlier than I was expecting. It happened last Monday, November 22. If you want to read about what happened during my first dose just click this.  I already expected a long line and a lot of people in the vaccination site, so I wasn't surprised when I got there. It was crowded. It felt like I went to school for an enrolment because there are really a lot of children there with their own chaperone.  I went there at almost two in the afternoon. The good thing is that there are designated lines for children, for those who will be having their first dose, and for second dose. There were only 3 people in the line for the second dose when I got there.  Unlike during my first dose where I didn't wait that long, this time the waiting took me three hours to get my second dose vaccine. Fortunately, there was a waiting area outside and it wasn't raining, but it was the hottest time of the day. I had my blood pressure checked before
