Merry Christmas

For you,

Merry Christmas, to you. I hope you had a meaningful Christmas celebration. If not, you still have a few hours to do so. I hope that you were able to spend it with your loved ones.

May you always find a reason to celebrate and rejoice just like the angels did when they found out about the birth of Jesus. I hope you never lose the child in you that gets excited everytime Christmas is about to arrive, not because you know you have gifts to receive, but simply because it's Christmas. It's the most wonderful time of the year. Some of us waited for it for 11 months.

As you grow older, Christmas become more meaningful. It's totally different the way you spend it when you were still a kid. I hope you still have that excitement everytime this season is here, and just by the thought of Christmas. May you never lose your sense of wonder and excitement. May you still find joy even in the simple things, like watching the twinkling of Christmas lights.

All year round we were so consumed with everything that's been going on in our life. It's as if we don't have time to relax. It feels like everything is so fast-paced, yet we feel so stuck and nothing good is happening in our life. But despite that, may we never lose the will to live. May we always see life just like we used to when we were a lot younger and knew nothing about the seriousness of life.

There comes a time when life feels like a repetitive pattern that sometimes it bore us. There are times when we feel like not wanting to wake up every morning because we don't have anything to look forward to. I hope that when you feel that way, you should remember the birth of Jesus. This is something that we should look forward to. This is a time that you get to spend with your loved ones and just enjoy the season.

May you always believe in miracles because they do happen, just like how Jesus was conceived in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary and how Elizabeth even in her old age was still able to get pregnant and gave birth to John. Together with her husband Zechariah, they already lose all hope with regards to having a child, but God made it possible. May we always find hope and believe in the impossible. It's just a matter of time before our prayers will be answered. Our prayers haven't been answered yet because the time is still not right. God will decide for us when He will give us the desires of our heart. He will answer our prayers when we least expect it, so we should never lose hope. We just have to keep on praying and believing.

May you always choose to follow God's will for you rather than what you want for yourself. Just like when Joseph hesitated at first and wanted to divorce Mary when He learned that she's pregnant. But when an angel visited him in his dream saying that he should stay with Mary and be Jesus' earthly father because that's what God wanted him to do, Joseph gladly obliged to what God wanted even if it's not convenient for him. He can walk out of Mary's life, but he still chose to follow God. May you always trust God even in the uncertainties. May you find it in your heart to let go of what you once imagined your life would be to make room for your real purpose.

May we find Jesus' birth a reminder for us that we are born with a purpose. Even before we were conceived in our mother's womb, God has already plan our lives. Challenges and trials are part of our life. They are already part of God's best plans for our life. Nothing in this world is accident. Everything and every one of us has a purpose. We may not see it that way at times, but that should not discourage us to live a purposeful life. As long as God wakes us up every morning, we still have a purpose. May you always have the courage to face whatever life has to offer you.

May we never disregard even the simplest things in this life. See how the Blessed Virgin Mary gave birth in a manger? It shows us that great things can happen even in the humblest place or circumstance. There were no guest rooms available when the Blessed Virgin Mary was about to give birth that's why she gave birth in a manger. May that serve as an inspiration to you when you think that no door wanted to open for you. It's doesn't mean that you're missing out on something, but it's the people who reject you who have no idea what they're missing, and simply because it's all part of God's plan.

Just like how the Blessed Virgin Mary cherish and savor the moment with Baby Jesus while the shepherds were rejoicing and celebrating, may you also find time to just be present in the moment. Enjoy the moment while it last especially the good ones that happen rarely in your life. You don't know when it's gonna happen again, or if it will happen again. May we find time to relax and just enjoy this moment because one day this will all be just a memory.

May you also realize that the best gifts are found in people with a good heart, just like the magi when King Herod asked them to find baby Jesus. They chose to take different route when they went home so that King Herod won't see them. They don't want to tell him where baby Jesus was because they are protecting our Savior Jesus Christ.

May you always believe that God will provide all your needs more than you believed that Santa Claus was going to put a gift on the sock that you hang when you were a kid. You believed that Santa Claus existed even when you didn't see him, so may you also believe that God is always present in our lives even when you don't see Him.

I hope that the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ will give peace in your mind and in your heart. Knowing that God gave His one and only son for us, to save us from our sins. Jesus Christ died for us and I hope that gives you enough reason to love your life even more. Do not let His sufferings go to waste.

With everything that is happening in your life, in times of confusion, may your response always be like the Blessed Virgin Mary when she was told by the angels that she's going to bore a child. She answered with "may it be done unto me according to Your word." May you always trust God even when you don't see what lies ahead of you. May you never find any reason to doubt His divine plans.

Have a blessed Christmas day.

Ciao. 😊
