Happy International Women's Month

Here's to all the women in all parts of the world. Happy International Women's Month to us! Menstruation hasn't always been easy. PMS isn't a joke. Giving birth to a child is hard. 

Here's to all the mothers and grandmothers, including the soingle mothers. You are the glue that holds your family together. Nothing compares to the sacrifices a mother does just to keep the family strong. You never get tired of serving your family. Always making sure that your children eat at the right time. You always attend to them when they are sick. You are their very first teacher. You have always been their lawyer, always defending them when someone tries to hurt them. You always make sure that your children are safe. You never want them to be hurt. Their pain is also your pain. Here's to all the single ladies who would rather not be with anyone else. Not wanting to have your own children or build your own family doesn't make you less of a person. Being childless and single don't define your worth. We have our own preferences. We are free to choose whatever we want to do with our lives. Don't second-guess your choice. No one should dictate how you should spend your life. 

Here's to the lady boss, to all the janitresses, waitresses, female doctors, lawyers, pilots, engineers, street sweepers, artists, and all the career women. Perhaps some of you don't like your job, and going to work is a struggle for you every day. But you still choose to go to your job every day because you need money to pay for your rent, to buy food, or because someone depends on you. One day, every hard work you do will pay off. Here's to the unemployed. To the women who lost their jobs. To all the women who can't find a job: I know how hard it is to be jobless. I know that feeling of worrying about what could happen in the future. With all the uncertainty and everything, we can get through this. Everything happens for a reason. We're where we're supposed to be. We are doing what we are supposed to do. Being unemployed doesn't dictate our worth. 

Here's to the women who are already at the sunset of their lives. I hope that every time you look back on your younger years, you won't feel any regret. I hope that you can say that you lived the life that you dreamed of. I hope that you are proud of the legacy that you're going to leave one day. I hope that your heart is happy and at peace. Here's to the newborn baby girls. May you all grow up to be the people that you aspire to be. May you find your purpose in life. May you have the liberty to choose the path that you want to pursue. May you always be filled with courage and strength to fight for what you want. You can be who you want to be, but always make sure to keep your feet on the ground and never forget to be kind.

Here's to all the ladies who are on the verge of giving up but still choose to survive every day. Who are fighting just to survive every day. Here's to the women who are fighting silent battles. Just know that you are strong and that you are capable of getting through anything. Just don't forget all the lessons that you learned from all the experiences that you had. You can use them as you go on with your life. Here's to the women who've been underestimated by other people, even their own relatives. You got this, girl. Prove them wrong. But just to be clear, you don't have to prove anything to anyone. You do something because you want to and because you know it will make your heart happy. Not because you want to prove yourself to others, not because you want to make others happy, and most definitely not because you want to prove your worth. You are worthy of being here, without any condition. You don't need other people's validation. You are worthy now. You are worthy every day. You are worthy forever, despite people seeing otherwise. We women matter. We women are capable.
