Merry Christmas

So, it’s Christmas—Jesus’ big day—and let’s just take a moment to appreciate how wild this whole thing is. It’s His birthday, yet we’re the ones getting the gifts. Think about it: we’re over here unwrapping socks, gadgets, and whatnot, while He’s like, “I just came to save the world, no big deal.” Honestly, what a King.

But seriously, it’s moments like these that hit me right in the feels. God gave us His Son, and instead of us giving Him anything back, He keeps blessing us. And not just the usual “here’s some air to breathe” kind of blessings—He goes all out! Family, friends, opportunities, even those little unexpected moments that make life sweet. Sometimes I look around and think, “Wow, God, You’re spoiling me. I don’t deserve all this, but hey, I’m not complaining!”

This year, I’m extra thankful. Every single day, I wake up and realize how much God has done for me—way more than I could ever earn or repay. And while I try to be grateful, let’s be real: sometimes I mess up. A lot. But you know what? God doesn’t stop. His love and blessings keep coming, no matter how many times I trip over my own feet.

What’s amazing is how Christmas reminds us of what really matters. The world gets so noisy with to-do lists, gift shopping, and holiday chaos, but at the core of it all, it’s about love—God’s love for us, our love for each other, and that magical feeling of hope this season brings. It’s not the decorations, the feasts, or even the gifts that make Christmas special. It’s knowing that no matter where we are in life, God is there with us, cheering us on and reminding us that we’re never alone.

So here’s my Christmas wish: Jesus, please never get tired of blessing us—Your slightly dysfunctional but well-meaning brothers and sisters. We need You. Like, *really* need You. Keep being patient with us, forgiving our nonsense, and shining that crazy bright light of Yours into our messy lives.

To everyone reading this: I hope your Christmas is full of love, laughter, and maybe even that one gift you didn’t think anyone would actually get you (you know the one). But more importantly, I hope it’s a time to stop and say, “Wow, thank You, Lord. For everything.”

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about what we have, but who we have—and how much love we choose to give back. Merry Christmas, and remember: while you’re enjoying the holiday, take a moment to wish Jesus a happy birthday. After all, He’s the reason for the season—and honestly, He’s way cooler than Santa. 🎄🎅

au revoir. 😊
